About Forever on Record

Forever on Record was built on something deeper than business — it was built on heart. What started as a simple idea quickly became a shared mission among friends and family who understood, through their own experiences, just how fragile moments can be — and how powerful it is to preserve them.

We saw firsthand how easy it is to lose what can never be replaced: the sound of someone’s laugh, the way they tell a story, the voice that brings a memory rushing back. Too often, those moments were left in the hands of companies that treated them like transactions instead of treasures. We knew we could do better — and we promised to.

Forever on Record was created with one unshakable belief: every voice matters. Every message we capture carries love, joy, or remembrance — sometimes all at once. That’s why we treat every event and every recording like it’s the most important in the world. Because to us, it is.

We don’t just preserve sound; we protect emotion. We honor connection. We capture life as it’s lived — the laughter, the stories, the pauses, the raw and the real — and make sure it can always be heard again.

That’s what makes Forever on Record, Forever on Record.

The audio guestbook that captures love, laughter, and life.

Co-Owner

Clint Foster

Clint Foster immediately felt the significance of Forever on Record when Matt Thompson first shared the idea. Having recently lost his father, Clint understood how powerful it could be to preserve not only joy and laughter, but also the heartfelt stories that give life to cherished memories. Hearing new stories about his dad — some he knew and others he’d never heard — brought a sense of closeness words alone couldn’t capture. That experience deepened his belief that Forever on Record was more than an idea; it was a way to hold on to the voices, laughter, and love that define our lives, ensuring they’re never forgotten.

Co-Owner

Hayden Marlar

Hayden Marlar joined Forever on Record with a deeply personal connection to its mission. A childhood friend of Matt Thompson and cousin to Clint, Hayden played a meaningful role in bringing the company’s vision to life when one of its phones was first featured at his grandfather’s celebration of life. That phone was later named “The Erroll,” honoring the middle name shared by Hayden, his father, and his grandfather. The experience marked the beginning of Hayden’s journey with Forever on Record and its purpose of preserving voices and memories that last forever.

Founder & Owner

Matt Thompson

While planning his own wedding, Matt wanted a more meaningful way to preserve memories than a traditional guestbook. After seeing how often audio guestbook messages were lost, he set out to build Forever on Record — a reliable way to capture and protect life’s most important voices and stories.
